We had a truly unforgettable experience during our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality from the hosts. The atmosphere they created was so inviting and comfortable, with beautiful crisp sheets and bedding that provided enhanced comfort. The house itself was stunning, and the beautiful table settings and presentation of food made every meal feel like a special occasion. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening drinks and canapés, all prepared with great care and attention to detail. The hosts were always available to provide helpful advice about nearby attractions and places to eat, ensuring that we had a fantastic time exploring the area. The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning, nestled on a hill above the Hawkes' Bay and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The peacefulness and tranquility of this place, with only birdsong filling the air, made it a truly relaxing retreat.

We had the most wonderful bed and breakfast experience. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and generous, greeting us with treats upon arrival and providing great recommendations for dinner. Situated on a hill, the house gave us some incredible views of the surroundings. Our room was not only large and comfortable, but also excellently decorated, in keeping with the period, and the bathroom was also terrific. we enjoyed every bit of the breakfast, which had various home-cooked dishes that tasted exceptional. The wine and canapes served in the evenings added an excellent touch to our stay.
There was a limited number of rooms available.

Christmas in this hotel was amazing. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and cozy rooms. The owners were welcoming and thoughtful, with little touches like homemade cookies and delicious breakfast. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main part of town and stunning views of the city.
There was only one slight downside. The stairs leading up to the rooms were a bit steep and could be a challenge for those with mobility issues.
